The thing that makes Allison one of the best and most refreshing characters, not just on The Umbrella Academy, but on television as a WHOLE, is that she actively learns from her mistakes. The way she used her powers hurt people and so she stopped using them. She realized she played a role in her father excluding Vanya as a child and then starts putting in the effort to be a better sister. Allison embodies the theme of the show as a whole so beautifully: Recognizing the ways in which your past has shaped you and in some ways, caused you to lash out with toxic behaviors, but learning from your experiences and owning them to become a better person. Allison is the heart of her family, the show and I love her so much!!!
